From care taking, bathing, grooming assistant, animal rescue, vet tech, surgery assistant, customer service, training coordinator, and office manager- I have grown to love all areas of the business and now have the pleasure of working with an incredible group of people who have the same drive and passion as I do!

I’ve come a long way from rescuing and rehoming dogs since I moved to Texas from California, and my newfound passion is making dogs that are away from home, feel just like they are at home!!! I have come far in my journey from the days of poop scooping and I couldn't ask for a better team to be a part of my dream!

Hey there! I’m Cheyenne, and I am the Executive Administrator at The Dog Academy! From my young age I have had a love for animals and knew that I wanted to work around them. The peace that they bring me is something that nothing else in the world does. I never thought that I would be able to work with animals and, on top of that, have a team that supports me the way the TDA team does! Coming to work is such a joy.
